 A Handcrafted Home is a new design and lifestyle blog developed to give you daily ideas and inspirations to transform your home.  Based in Southern California, we are dedicated to sharing current trends in home design, DIY projects, recipes, entertaining ideas and tips for keeping your home clean and organized.  We hope you'll be encouraged and inspired by everything you find here to create a home that truly reflects your personal style. 

Founded by me, Brittany, in June 2011, A Handcrafted Home is a collection of the things that inspire me the most. When I'm not busy blogging or working as the 5th & 6th Grade Director Children's Ministry at my church, I love spending time with my husband Heath and our two dogs Thumper and Lola.  I also enjoy hunting in thrift stores, flea markets, antique stores and on craigslist to find intriguing funiture pieces to refinish, reupholster or repurpose to sell in my Etsy shop.
